Dr. Annelia Roujei, Ph.D (Bio-Chem.)
Dr. Annelia Roujei is the owner of La Clinique Holistic Skin Care & Beauty Centre and The Nassau Academy of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology. Her academic qualifications include an under-graduate degree in Biological Sciences from Hartwick College, Oneonta, New York, post graduate studies at the University of the West Indies and at the University of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Her personal interest and passion for herbs and their medicinal and beautifying properties led to her having qualified as a Skincare and Beauty Specialist, Massage Therapist, Aromatherapist and Herbalist: these studies were undertaken in Great Britain, Bergan, Norway, Denmark and Sweden. Studies in Advanced Dermal Care and the Natural Healing Arts are on-going.
From 1998-1999, she penned a weekly column - The Holistic Health & Beauty Guide which was featured in the Cable and T.V. Guide, a local publication. In 1999, her article - Advances in Electrolysis was published in the Nassau Guardian's supplement Technological Advances In the Beauty Industry. Other featured articles about La Clinique Holistic Skincare & Beauty Centre and Annelia, have been profiled in the local Business Beat magazine and in the Punch's Woman in Action.
Annelia's hobbies include gardening, reading, arts and craft, calligraphy and collecting teapots.
La Clinique Holistic Skin-Care & Beauty Centre was established in 1992 and is owned and operated by Dr. Annelia Roujei Ph.D.
The centre, located at Gable House, East St. Hill, commands a panoramic view of the bustling city of Nassau. True to it's motto "to heal, beautify, rejeuvenate, correct and balance", La Clinique Holistic Skincare & Beauty Centre offers an extensive and impressive array of beautifying treatments.
